5-Hole Side-By-Side Standard Big Bird Laying Nest.
Big Bird Nests are made for larger birds as well as heavy pedigree breeding. Nests are built to withstand the increased size and weight of larger birds such as Black Giants, Wyandottes, Brahmas, Orpingtons, Barred Rocks or large Rhode Island Reds. Use of Kuhl Big Bird Nests virtually eliminate floor eggs, thus reducing egg breakage. Nests are constructed of heavy duty plastic and galvanized metal that allows for the complete sanitization of the unit, as well as the extra support required by larger fowl. These nests have plastic bottoms.
Special Features Include:
- Enlarged front opening of 10"
- Expanded width to 14"
- Increased overall height to 24"
- Units are also supplied with plastic perches.
