    Disappointed

Posted by Kim McClure on Apr 11th 2023

Although I was very impressed with the design and the way that they function, the overall Box size is way too small. I have a mix of birds raging from Rhode Island reds, Wyandotes, and Buff Orpingtons and one lone Polish. The one Polish and the Rhode Island reds are the only breeds that are really small enough to get in and maneuver around the boxes the rest of the girls would not use them cause they could not move around them comfortably.

Great value - If it helps solve egg eating problem

Posted by Jesse Woltz on May 15th 2018

Our hens had begun eating eggs and we needed to stop them. This seemed to be the most affordable option without building something ourselves. It was easy to assemble for one man with a rechargeable drill. We purchased some artificial turf to line the nesting boxes. Sure hope it helps.
